Perrelet Lab Peripheral Collection
The release comprise of three references. Two which are 3 handed automatic watches with different executions of the dial – one in Deep Blue and the other in Emerald Green, and a dual time reference with an Emerald Green dial.
the Emerald Green looks quite spectacular as does the blue, especially in juxtaposition with the clean silver bits of the dial. The Perrelet signature of showing the moving rotor is via an aperture ring made to the dial just inwards from the minute chapter ring.
The movement is designed with dual periphery rotors which are eccentrically weighted rings. Each of these rings are attached to each side of the movement, and remain completely synchronised to each other. The effect of the dial side rotor, which is decorated with oblique stripes on one half look like a moving turbine and is a rather fascinating visual. And the case back rotor allows a full visual of the movement through its center.
The LAB Peripheral’s case design is also rather interesting. Both the 3 hander and the Dual Time share the same case, which has a vintage feel somewhat reminiscent of the 1970s. The lugs are big and angularly attached to the cushion shaped case which feature deep coin edge marks on its side. The case is rathr large at 42mm x 42mm, and remains for us to try it out when we are able to get our hands on one.
The price for the Ref. A110 3hand watches are CHF/EUR/USD 3,880. And the price for the A1101 Dual Time is CHF/EUR/USD 4,980.
