To mark the 45th anniversary of the Motocompo, the new Seiko 5 Sports Field Series Limited Edition combines the iconic design elements of the cult scooter with the collection’s DNA. The yellow dial with its striking black horizontal bar is reminiscent of the Motocompo’s colour scheme.
The design of the ‘AUTOMATIC’ display at 6 o’clock echoes the look of the original logo. The nylon strap also picks up on details from the scooter: the ‘Insertion point’ and ‘Carrying point’ markings are reminiscent of the attachment points used to secure the Motocompo in the boot of the Honda City.
