OW 1959 Plongeur. Ref. 105
 The 1959 Plongeur was one of OW’s early dive watches and also one of the first known models to carry the famous OW propellor brand marque. Bold, lumed baton indices are interrupted by oversized triangular markers at 12, 6 and 9 – a design characteristic that endures in today’s OW models. The Ref. 105 was designed specifically to be used in underwater environments, with a water resistance of -660 ft / 20 ATM, which was very impressive for the late 50s. This made it equally suitable for the humid jungles of South East Asia, and it soon became the watch of choice for thousands of GIs and pilots in Vietnam. Many iterations followed, and collectively they are often referred to as – OW’s ‘military’ watches. This particular variation – the Ref. 105 – is also one of the OW watches with a connection to NASA. Anthony Llewellyn, one of NASA’s Astronaut Group 6 Program, wore the OW Plongeur Ref.105 for his official NASA portrait in August 1967. Taught to dive by the legendary Jacques Cousteau, Llewellyn was also the training director at one of the first scuba diving certification programs in the United States. He went from astronaut to aquanaut, living and working in ‘Hydro-Lab’, a semi-autonomous undersea habitat on the ocean bed a mile off the coast of Great Bahama Island

Aquaguard Ref. 405
 The1962 Aquagaurd predated the iconic OW Caribbean 1000 by two years and was also an important watch for OW. Not only does it exemplify the utilitarian simplicity for which OW is now known, it was one of our first watches to adopt an automatic ETA movement. Its brushed stainless steel skin diver–style case, oversized crown (designed to be easily gripped with diving gloves), and hand-painted luminous spot hour markers typify the aesthetic of dive watches of the period. The Aquaguard line incorporated several dial and bezel variations, but this particular one – with its Mercedes, Dauphine and lollipop hand combo – is something of a rarity

Navichron Ref. 2002
 If the Caribbean 1000 is OW’s most famous dive watch, the Ref. 2002 Navichron is surely our most famous chronograph. Introduced in 1965, it too was marketed as a dive watch and was amongst the first dual-pusher chronographs to be water- resistant to -660 ft / -200 m. Like most OW chronographs, the Navichron was designed as an all-round tool watch, aimed at professionals and sportsmen (who OW reasoned could easily be one and the same person). ‘Men of Action‘ – as OW called them back in the 60s. A dive bezel, a tri- coloured race/yachting timer, and a telemetric/tachometric scale are time-measuring features equally useful in the sea, in the air or on land. There were several variations of the Ref. 2002 with different dial, bezel and colour and configurations. This particular variation features a graduated 60-minute dive bezel, much rarer than the ‘world-time’ 12- hour bezel. THE OW M110: NAVIGATE ANY CHALLENGE Ollech & Wajs are proud to present the OW M110 – a tactical tool watch that draws on over 60 years of military and dive expertise. The new reference combines many design characteristics, and the impermeability of OW’s original dive watches, with a 360-degree compass bezel more conventionally found on field watches. The M110, as the first OW watch to carry the new Soprod Newton Precision movement, a bespoke version of the Newton P092, modified to OW’s own specifications and adjusted in five positions. The M110 also sees the return of the classic ‘skin diver’ case, first used on early OW models such as the 1964 Aquaguard and the 1965 Early Bird. The M110 will come on either a yet-to-be-revealed strap option, and a heavy-gauge, stainless steel mesh bracelet with reinforced ends and hand-brushed finish. The sturdy milled and engraved clasp is extendable up to 22 mm, and a double pusher-release system provides extra security against accidental opening. Το 1979 εγινε εκκαθαριση στην εταιρια Breitling μετά απo σχεδoν 100 χρονια λειτουργιας,λογω της κρισης του quartz. Κατα τη διαρκεια αυτης της διαδικασιας διαφορες εταιριες αγοραζαν ανταλλακτικα, εμπορικα σήματα και τα δικαιωματα για να τα χρησιμοποιησουν προς οφελος τους. Οι δυο πιο σημαντικες εταιριες ηταν οι Ollech & Wajs και Sinn. Η O & W αρχισε να παραγει ρολογια από τα τμηματα NOS του Navitimer και να τα πουλαει με το ονομα Aviation. Ο Sinn πηγε σε διαφορετικη κατευθυνση, κανοντας νεα ρολογια σε παρομοιο υφος με το Navitimer(Sinn 903)





Η  Ollech&Wajs,παρηγαγε τα μοντελα 806/809 και Chronomatic κατασκευασμενα απο ανταλλακτικα Breitling και τα πουλουσε με την επωνυμια
  Aviation.
