The case, in stainless steel, measures 44mm (as is the original). It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and it is water resistant to 30 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Longines caliber L704.2 (base ETA Valgranges A07-171) with 24 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 48 hours. It features a GMT complication and as in the 1949 model, the movement is encased in a soft iron plate and dome which protect it from the effects of magnetic fields.
