imagenThe case, in stainless steel, measures 41.5mm x 12mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, either a solid or a display back, and it is water resistant to 300 meters. With the compass bezel it is possible to determine the directions north and south in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. The unidirectional rotating bezel displays cardinal directions in 360 degrees.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Sellita caliber SW200 with 26 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 38 hours.
share imageHow to Use It
To determine the directions north and south please follow these instructions:
For the Northern Hemisphere
Set your watch to local time.
Place your watch on a plain, horizontal surface.
Turn the watch so that the hour hand points towards the sun.
Turn the bezel, so that the 'S' is placed midway between the hour hand and twelve o'clock.
'S' indicates south (more or less).
For the Southern hemisphere
Set your watch to local time.
Place your watch on a plain, horizontal surface.
Turn the watch so that twelve o'clock points to the sun.
Turn the bezel, so that the triangle / luminous dot ('N') is midway between the hour hand and twelve o'clock.
The triangle / luminous dot ('N') indicates north (more or less).
For further orientation, the directions of certain degrees (0-360) can be identified on the bezel.
The wider angle between the hour hand and twelve o'clock should be used for measurements before 6am and after 6pm. The measurement needs to be adjusted to allow for winter/summer time changes. The nearer you are to the equator, the less precise the results.
