The Only Watch auction fundraiser supporting research against Duchenne muscular dystrophy was held on Friday, September 23, 2011 in Monaco under the patronage of H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco. Held to coincide with the Monaco Yacht Show, the auction was presided by leading watch auction house Antiquorum.
This was the third consecutive time that Bell & Ross supported this worthy cause by creating a unique piece for the occasion, the BR01 Flight Instruments collector's box.
With a winning bid of 44,000 USD, (32,000 Euros), the Bell & Ross' box has far exceeded its original selling price of 24,000 euros and was a major contributor to the success of this fundraiser. Bell & Ross is proud to have taken part in this unique event that contributes so much to the fight against this lethal childhood disease.
This lavish case fashioned from high-quality wood contains six watches: the BR01 HORIZON, ALTIMETER and TURN COORDINATOR created in 2012 and the BR01 HEADING INDICATOR, AIRSPEED and CLIMB created in 2013.
