The new Saxonia Automatic Outsize Date is equipped with Lange's legendary Sax-O-Mat caliber, done in an exclusive rose gold limited edition.
The Sax-O-Mat name is composed of "Saxonia" (the Latin word for Saxony), "zero", and "automatic". The zero stands for its ingenious Zero-Reset mechanism. It causes the seconds hand to instantaneously jump to the 12 o'clock position when the crown is pulled. This very useful function makes synchronising the watch extremely easy.
Technical Specifications:
The case, in 18kt rose gold, measures 37mm x 9.7mm. The crystals are sapphire.
Movement is the German automatic Lange in-house caliber Sax-O-Mat L921.4 with 45 jewels, 21,600 vph and a power reserve of 46 hours. It is decorated and assembled by hand; precision-adjusted to five positions; three-quarter plate made of untreated German silver with integrated three-quarter rotor made of 21kt gold with a platinum centrifugal mass, reversing and reduction gear with four ball bearings; and a balance cock engraved by hand.
The dial is solid silver argente with gold hands.
The strap is hand-stitched brown crocodile with 18kt rose gold buckle.
