Αλλα ειναι η πρωτη φορα που πραγματικα οσο το κοιταω τοσο περισσοτερο μου ερχεται στο μυαλο η φραση "poor man's Rolex".. 

Εχει την ιστορια της αλλα εχω μονιμα την αισθηση οτι οταν το κοιταει καποιος φορεμενο, σκεφτεται οτι καποια στιγμη θα παρει και το πραγματικο..

The lineage of first generation Tudor Submariners begins with the ref. 7922 that started it all in 1954, followed by the manually wound ref. 7923, and then finally the slightly more waterproof, and Big Crown–equipped ref. 7924 of 1958. After these three references, the Submariner matured into its best-known form, with crown guards and a sharp-toothed bezel. These aforementioned changes came one year later, with the introduction of the Ref. 7928.

The TUDOR Oyster Prince Submariner shown here, reference 7928, with pointed crown guards, was produced in 1964. On its screw-down case back it bears the engravings of supplies belonging to the American navy (US Navy or USN) as well as a date. The inscriptions were displayed on three lines: U.S.N., ST-2/015, OCT.68.
This example shows a dial without a circle around the minute graduation, and with white inscriptions. Its case does not show the characteristic marks of having been mounted on a metal bracelet, suggesting that it was mounted only on flexible bracelets – as was often the situation of military TUDOR Submariners. The bracelet shown here was not produced by TUDOR.

The singular example of reference 94010 shown here and produced in 1981 was a special order placed by a left- handed officer-instructor within the Marine nationale. The particular arrangement of the crown of this watch did not have a different dedicated reference number. All the other characteristics for this reference remained unchanged. The bracelet shown here was not produced by TUDOR.

The French Marine (Navy)  had a fondness for Tudor; they used various models of the Tudor Submariner for more than 30 consecutive years, before quartz watches finally swept them out of service. Those watches feature the coveted M.N. engraving (standing for Marine Nationale), and sometimes the year they were introduced to service (in this case, 1975). Unfortunately, this is not the hardest thing to fake, so the past of each watch has to be scrutinized to make sure that they really belonged to the military stock. And I would not solely trust decommission papers, as not all French military bases were issuing them – and let's say that a good number of blank forms also found their way out into the world.
