On board the Columbia
Once again, the 142 space chronograph plays a role in a space mission. On the second German Spacelab mission, the D-2, the space chronograph accompanied the crew during their 10 days in space. The watch flies 6.7 million kilometres and orbites the earth 160 times on board the American space shuttle Columbia.
