Last week, the Seiko Astron GPS Solar officially launched nationwide. Seiko Astron launch parties took place in Seattle, Los Angeles and concluded at Arizona Fine Time in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Hundreds of watch enthusiasts attended the events, and Seiko executives and management were on hand to demonstrate the numerous functions of the Seiko Astron GPS Solar. As the world's first GPS Solar watch, the new Seiko Astron receives time signals from four or more GPS satellites that orbit the earth for Atomic Clock precision. The Multi-Indicator at the 10 o'clock position has four functions: satellite indication, power reserve indication, Airplane Mode, and Daylight Savings Time.
Chef Travis Garnet catered the Scottsdale event with a gourmet menu of lime-cilantro shrimp cocktail, wild mushroom and Boursin crostini, lobster fritters, sliced sirloin crostini with Roquefort and the Capital Grille's signature ribeye steak sandwiches. After enjoying the Astron GPS Solar demonstration and food, guests enjoyed cigars in the store's cigar lounge.
