Here it is, result of today´s fairly hard work - iteration 3!
I think it is starting to shape up nicely..thanks for all the engagement, ideas and constructive criticism.
A short note about the bezel: it is a tripple use bezel:
24 hours for the GMT hand
Minutes for use of the bezel for countdown / time taking. (there are no numbers or minute markings on the dial, only hours)
Minutes for use with the standard time zone
I have departed from the standard way of doing the GMT bezels, and only kept 4 numbers instead of every second hour. To avoid clutter in the design. We will find out if I went to far
As I wrote earlier, I have been half sick all day, so design was the only thing I could do anyway - I will not be able to keep my promise regarding the mail to you all with final serial numbers - that will have to wait until tomorrow. Now I need to sleep this off..
Enjoy the mock-up, it is a bit rough, but you get an impression of what kind of watch this will be.
