In 1966, Ultraman debuted on Japanese television, launching a multi-billion dollar franchise that heavily influences everything from anime and video games today. Ultraman chose a watch fit for heroes in the original series, wearing a special Omega Speedmaster — later worn by the Apollo astronauts — with a unique orange second hand. A few hundred examples were made, from serial no. 26076xxx to 26079xxx, delivered across the globe. This Speedmaster "Ultraman" was made in February 1968 and is an excellent example of one of the all-time classic watches.
