Founded by CEO Ben Küffer in 2018, family-owned and fully-independent Luxury watch manufacturer Norqain is based in Nidau (Bienne) at the heart of the Swiss watch industry. Built on the abundance of experience and deep ties in the Swiss watchmaking industry of founder Ben Küffer and the Küffer family, Norqain explores the brand’s passion for Swiss mechanical watches with a bold sense of authenticity, uniqueness and rebellious character trait for those who are not afraid to carve their own path in life. Despite being on the market for a relatively short span of time, Norqain has brought a huge shake up in the luxury Swiss watch manufacturing industry, rapidly growing with an impressive range of creative dial designs and performance-driven Swiss mechanics.
NORQAIN, the independent Swiss watch brand was founded in March 2018 after Ben Küffer left his corporate job in the Swiss watch industry and fulfilled his dream of building his own family-owned and independent watch company. Despite people’s concerns about whether the Swiss watch industry still has capacities for another brand, Ben has consistently followed his dream and been determined to go his own way.
Watchmaking Roots & Rebellious Spirit
The Küffer family has a great accumulation of experience in the Swiss watch industry. Ben’s father, Marc Küffer, is the Chairman of the Board and has over 45 years of experience in manufacturing Swiss luxury watches and spent 25 years on the Board of Directors of the Swiss Watch Industry Association. Ted Schneider, son of former Breitling owner, and Mark Streit, the Swiss ice hockey legend and Stanley Cup winner, are also part of the management and board.
Based in the heart of Swiss watchmaking, in Nidau (Bienne), NORQAIN is driven by the excitement that comes with traveling the road less traveled. Their timepieces exclusively feature automatic mechanical movements and original striking design elements.
