Defy Double Tourbillon Felipe Pantone – Unique Piece for Only Watch made in a Sapphire 46mm case, housing an El Primero 9020 movement. 

The Defy Double Tourbillon Felipe Pantone Unique Piece for Only Watch is made of a Sapphire 46mm case. The dial is openworked, inspired by the Defy 21 Felipe Pantone recently launched in 2021. The watch houses the El Primero 9020 movement. 


The finishing we can observe are "Rainbow" PVD coated bridges and a black laser engraved main plate on the movement and special oscillating weight. The hour markers are coated with a "Rainbow" varnish and the watch hands are "Rainbow" PVD coated. The watch will be sold and delivered with a Felipe Pantone special watch box, signed by the artist himself, and an artwork made especially for this.

This UR-102 is unique in many ways. Its full, round shape is seamlessly smooth. Framed by precious platinum, the caseback features an interpretation of the Gaïa prize, a dazzling flight of fancy symbolising URWERK’s unswerving resolve to reach for the stars.

It is an iconic model, jealously safeguarded until now at the heart of the watch Maison, since it marks the beginning of the URWERK adventure in the 1990s. The foundation stone.

This year, the timepiece auctioned by Ulysse Nardin for Only Watch is not a wristwatch but a wacky high-flying clockmaker’s object, a work of art, a piece of design and architecture, a toy, quite simply: the UFO, a table clock ready to welcome you on board for a new entertaining odyssey, in a “unique piece” version with an orange hue. 

 

Indeed, the electric orange palette of Only Watch has sprung out in touches on the Ulysse Nardin UFO! The out-of-the-ordinary object, already venerated by traditional clock lovers and acclaimed when it was released in April 2021, is already sold-out in its metallic blue version of which the house produced only 75 pieces. The UFO is making an energetic return to center stage for the auction patronized by H.R.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, established by the Monegasque Association against Muscular Dystrophy. 

The spherical aluminum base of the clock on which the blown glass dome is secured by a bayonet system, is made orange by a special anodizing surface treatment. The three connecting cylinders and the three lower ties of the movement have also been colored orange. The power reserve disk, the decorative insert with the Ulysse Nardin emblem - the anchor – also colored orange. The three dials are also painted, but with a mat appearance unlike the other metallic orange elements.  


A unique piece, exclusively produced for the occasion, it will be auctioned in November 2021. Its pop details remind us that the orange color is stimulating and full of joy. A call to the nonchalance of sunny days. As if illuminated, energized and sunlit, the UFO sways in the most refined way. So, with this orange version, this is a golden opportunity to acquire a unique original of this art object.

For Only Watch 2021, TUDOR has created a unique Black Bay GMT with a striking case and bracelet finish that is the result of a secret stainless-steel ageing technique. The MT5652 Manufacture Calibre powering this unique watch, capable of keeping track of time in three time zones simultaneously, also received an aesthetic treatment to match the case in style that required the bridges and mainplate to be coated in black before being aged by barrel tumbling. 


The Black Bay GMT One is a Master Chronometer, one of the industry's most demanding certified standards, guaranteeing Swiss manufacturing, precision of 5 seconds (0 +5), anti-magnetism to 15’000 gauss, stated water-resistance and stated power-reserve. Achieving this certification required a substantial number of changes to the TUDOR Manufacture calibre and highlights the brand's technical expertise and know-how.

"La Réciproque" is a true sensory experience: 

Forms, colours and meanings find their reciprocal, 

Hours, minutes and seconds dance around each other,

Time passes and its form is released,

Black and white marry to the beating of a red heart,

Verticality is amused by circularity,

The frantic race of the "X-Centric" rings overlaps the verticality of the 8.7cm wide strips,

The gaze focuses and circulates to invite one to widen its field of vision,

Shapes finally come together twice a day, at the time when it all began, 2:13pm.

Collaboration

Considered one of the most recognised French Artist on the international scene, Daniel Buren has been moving his famous stripes around the world with nearly 3,000 exhibitions, each time creating both enthusiasm and controversy. It is to honour the Only Watch project that the Trilobe watchmaking House and the Sculptor Daniel Buren have decided to offer a unique and meaningful collaboration. This will convince us that this reciprocity between art and watchmaking, is as beautiful as it is between audacity and generosity.

A reimagining of the iconic ultra-rare Monaco “Dark Lord” in carbon, combining visionary avant-garde design and cutting-edge materials with exceptional traditional handcrafted savoir-faire.

As a realised vision representing the bridge between the heritage of TAG Heuer and its quest to constantly innovate, the Only Watch Carbon Monaco is the perfect encapsulation of these two core philosophies. With its extensive use of carbon, from the case and skeletonised dial down to the hairspring, as well as the avant-garde design, showing how disruptive the Monaco is more than 50 years after its introduction, the Only Watch Carbon Monaco looks towards the future.


Underneath the surface, and visible through the largest sapphire case back mounted on a Monaco, the respect that TAG Heuer has for traditional watchmaking is on full display. The unique Heuer 02 calibre, the first to be fitted with a carbon hairspring, is hand-finished using 10 different techniques including a distinctive gratté finish giving the impression of a chequered flag. This is completed by a unique oscillating mass in the form of the TAG Heuer shield which is hand finished and hand painted in the gradient shades of Only Watch 2021.

For this new design, Speake-Marin proposes a complication for travellers, who want to know at first glance their “Home” time versus the “Local” time. This new model is therefore the Speake-Marin travel watch par excellence, which targets travelers and digital nomads who are looking for the perfect travel watch, which completes their travel attire.


Orange has been chosen as a symbol of energy and power, referring to the Sun colour and its heating energy, which is in the centre of the solar system. Orange also symbolises life and hope to fight DMD thanks to the very encouraging results of the research against the disease. Last but not least, the Sun is from ages the reference for the chronometry measure and the time split.


Speake-Marin took inspiration from the Black Architecture too (that you can find everywhere in megacities like London) playing with black and grey applications on the case and the bridges.

The desire to create a watch that was like a second skin for Charles Leclerc, permitting a sort of ‘symbiosis’ with him, was the guiding ambition that propelled the development of the RM 67-02. 


With its satin-finished, bevelled hands and sharp lines, the in-house extra flat calibre CRMA7 actively conveys a sense of power and strength. The tight, taut lines of the rotor, crafted of Carbon TPT and white gold, the bridges and the DLC coated grade 5 titanium baseplate sharply underscore the sporty quality of this timepiece.

The case is crafted in white and red Quartz TPT, composite materials exclusive to Richard Mille possessing exceptional shock resistance. 


The comfort strap, entirely seamless, perfectly fit the contours of each wrist, adapting to individual morphology. As the lightest strap the brand has ever created it makes the RM 67-02 the lightest automatic watch of the Richard Mille collection.

Combining the design from this newest Kanister collection and the famous Palladium case of the RESERVOIR Longbridge collection, this unique watch is the symbol of determination in offering fresh view on high-end watchmaking, using our patented proprietary module of complications: jumping hour, retrograde minute and power reserve. 


This unique piece has been personalised with ONLYWATCH 2021 color codes which were painted manually on the dial and developed within a set of 3 leather straps inspired by car seats from this era. The watch has then been assembled and checked by our qualified and renowned watchmakers Telos in La-Chaux-de-Fonds. This is the one we have chosen to join this generous collective effort for research against muscular dystrophies.

Especially conceived for ONLY WATCH, the "TURBINE HOPE" boasts an innovative case with a central body made of polycarbonate and carbon fibre, a first for Perrelet. As the Turbine blades spin, the lower sub-dial reveals a cloud of positive words and the protagonist of the design, the word “HOPE”, both made with luminescent material. 


This design was inspired by paintings made by Italian children at the beginning of the pandemic in Italy and is a powerful symbol of hope that “everything will be alright” and that thanks to the ongoing progress of medical and scientific research, the virus will be defeated

The complicated desk clock, Ref. 27001M-001 is inspired by a desk clock delivered to James Ward Packard in 1923 and now safeguarded in the Patek Philippe Museum.

The complicated desk clock Ref. 27001M-001 offered by Patek Philippe for the Only Watch 2021 charity auction is inspired by a desk clock delivered to James Ward Packard in 1923. The original model is now preserved in the Patek Philippe Museum. 


This unique piece is equipped with the new caliber 86-135 PEND IRM Q SE. It features a perpetual calendar, moon phases, week-number display and power-reserve indication (31 days). It is adjusted to a precision rate of -1/+1 second per day. This exceptional Grande Complication is housed in a sterling silver cabinet with vermeil decorative elements and American walnut inlays.

MONTBLANC STAR LEGACY NICOLAS RIEUSSEC CHRONOGRAPH ONLY WATCH'21 UNIQUE PIECE


This year marks the 9th edition of the renowned Only Watch charity auction and also the 200th anniversary of the inking chronograph created by Nicolas Rieussec. To celebrate both important milestones, Montblanc pays tribute to both events with the creation of the Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Only Watch ’21 Unique Piece that will be auctioned together with a wooden replica of the historical chronograph from 1821, and an exclusive immersive high watchmaking experience.

This timepiece comes in a 43 mm 18 K yellow gold case that is shaped like a pebble, offering ultimate comfort and elegance on the wrist. Paying tribute to the charity auction, the caseback features a special engraving “Only Watch Unique Piece”. Furthermore, the movement’s oscillating weight has been crafted out of 18 K yellow gold and decorated with a guilloché grain d’orge pattern. It also includes a cartridge where a further engraving can be added – either Only Watch 2021 or the name of the future owner, making this unique timekeeper a true collector’s piece. Following the Only Watch colour theme, Montblanc has added subtle orange touches to the dial’s railway track, the skeletonised second time zone hand, the chronograph’s double index, and the date number six, as a nod to the day of the auction.

HM10’s rounded, compact body lends itself perfectly to the shape of the cuddly panda; the top section is coated in black and white lacquer to mimic the animal’s colouring. To accommodate the lacquer, the top section of the standard titanium case had to be crafted for this Pièce Unique in stainless steel. Other unique features include two black titanium panda ears, added atop the sapphire crystal dome, and a ceramic tail machined from Grade 5 silicon nitride.


Much like the panda’s unmistakable eyes, two black aluminium time-display domes dominate the face of the watch – a nod to the other use of the word ‘panda’ in watchmaking, where white dials with black counters are called panda dials. Other panda bear features include flexible “legs” that wrap firmly around your wrist and panda teeth that are constantly munching on bamboo shoots; the teeth also indicate the power reserve.
