IWC Schaffhausen has taken this journey through the universe from Antoine de Saint-Exupérys "The Little Prince" as a reason to crown the new Pilot's Watch Double Chronograph Edition "Le Petit Prince" (Ref. IW371807) with an enchanting mechanism. "Our partnership with the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation has already inspired us to create many Pilot's Watch special editions," says Georges Kern, CEO of IWC Schaffhausen. "And since the tale of 'The Little Prince' celebrated its 70th birthday two years ago, we've also dedicated a number of models to the title figure. This latest version not only has an impressive split-seconds mechanism but also a rather whimsical star element that might not be noticed at first glance."

The case, in stainless steel with a soft-iron inner case for protection against magnetic fields, measures 44mm x 17mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal (secured against displacement by drops in air pressure) and is water resistant to 60 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic IWC in-house claiber 79420 with 29 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 44 hours. It features a split-seconds complication.

The dial is midnight blue, with hands and appliqués coated with SuperLuminova and a gold-plated star display.

It comes on a matte brown calfskin strap with decorative beige stitching and a steel buckle.

Καλησπέρα
Είδα σήμερα τα παραπάνω σε κατάστημα της Θεσσαλονίκης.

-Το Miramar είναι φοβερό αλλά ξεφεύγει σε τιμή και σε μέγεθος. Επίσης θεωρώ ότι δεν είναι διαχρονικό και φοβάμαι την κεραμική κάσα.
-Το  Pilot’s Chronograph έχει καλή τιμή, το μέγεθος είναι καλύτερο, πιο μαζεμένο.
-Το Portugieser είναι πολύ κομψό, σχετικά καλή τιμή, με ενοχλεί λίγο το ότι δεν έχει ημερομηνία.
-Το Portorino επίσης πολύ κομψό, σχετικά καλή τιμή, χρωματικά με προβληματίζει λίγο.
Ακούω απόψεις από τους γνώστες.

ΙWC να'ναι και ό,τι να'ναι? 


Τον pilot χρονογράφο θα διάλεγα εγώ, πολύ αντιπροσωπευτικό ρολόι της φίρμας
και πολύ πιο ευκολοφόρετο από τα άλλα.
