The 3 o'clock subdial is the constant seconds, while the subdial at 9 is for a second timezone.
To set this timezone, there is a small pusher at 10 o'clock that advances the hand by one hour increments.
The watch feature a flyback function, which allows one to reset the chronograph back to zero while it is running. This type of function is extremely useful for pilots, who often need to time successive flight legs. The flyback allows the watch to immediately start counting again without the need for a stop and reset.
