In 1921 the founder of Eza Watches, Hermann Becker established its production for watch cases in Pforzheim, Germany. In the 1950’s, they became well-known for the construction of its water resistant wristwatch cases. Eza watches had a wide variety of watch cases and dial combinations. They were renowned for making affordable luxury timepieces with their own quality automatic movements.

The firm continous under the leadership of Mrs. Becker. 1958 The company became a ‘manufacture’ in its own right with its own watch movements, cases and dials. 1979 The quartz crisis also hit Eza Watches.
1958 The first automatic movement; calibre 312 was introduced and the company became a Manufacture in its own right. Hermann Becker became a ‘manufacture’ with its own watch movements, cases and dials for Eza Watches. 1962 The introduction of the automatic movement; calibre 313. This calibre has been built until 1972. 1975 The introduction of the manual wound movement; calibre 414.
imagEza Watches regains its independence under the leadership of Diederik van Golen and Adriaan Trampe, determined to return the company to its original brilliance and dynamism. They launched their new watch models – automatic timepieces with vintage inspired designs and modern materials. The brand remains true to its original principles of waterproofness, accuracy and the watchmaking facility is nowadays located in The Netherlands.
