imagen jpgIn partnership with TMB Artmetal, Chr. Ward has created a limited edition of 100 pieces that feature a small piece of one of the world's most iconic cars, the Ferrari 250 GTO.
Embedded behind a sapphire crystal in the back-plate of this chronometer chronograph is an original piece of exterior panelling from the seventh GTO (only 39 were ever built), which left the Ferrari factory on May 22nd, 1962. The date is featured in the watch's tachymeter scale. The chassis number of the watch, 3527 GT, is indicated on the side of the case.
The case, in stainless steel, measures 42mm x 10.7mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and it is water resistant to 100 meters.
Movement is the Swiss quartz ETA caliber 251.233 with 27 jewels. It is thermo-compensated and is COSC-certified as a chronometer. Functions are: hour, minutes, constant seconds, date, split minutes/seconds/ 1/10th seconds.
