Dear all, thanks for all kind words and comments after today´s weirdness - but make no mistake:

I was not surprised by this less than decent approach to business (you can blame. capitalism and naivism all you want, but most people I do business with, are in fact decent. That´s how we make progress in the world).
It´s been almost year with poor or no communication from Meranom - today I draw the line.
The collaboration with Meranom is over - the last message I got is that "the factory refuses to assemble the watch". This was after I asked about parts showing up on the website. I have no idea about what it means, if it is in fact true - the result is still the same: Meranom could not get the 987 Cosmodivers produced. Or they try to bypass me and us.
The Cosmodiver is dead - anything using that name from now, is NOT from me or this project. It is in a way, stolen.
I have a plan B I am super excited about.
Some of you will love it
Some of you will hate it (what else is new?)
This project moves into a new and different phase!

I am fully aware of that some / many of you will buy the parts designed by me, when they show on Meranom´s site. I can´t do anything about that. I could never, at any point, protect my design or work on this project - it´s too costly and too complex, and the reward too small for a project like this.
But those parts will never be OUR watch, OUR project, or my APPROVED design (I mean, selling fucked up bezels?). Nope. It will be another cheap DIY Vostok hack. I will make sure that the global community knows the story - I am sure many of you will too. What a messy thing to do! 😬
The Official Luna Dude ™ will be the next step - higher quality, better parts, better materials, refinements and improvements, with a new partner that I am super excited about. More about that tomorrow.
You did not seriously think that I, after 1.5 years of work, setting up multiple servers, paying for multiple platforms and software, handling mail lists and groups with almost 4000 people, countless evenings and nights, would just give this up?

Αλέξανδρε επειδή δεν έχω Facebook σε παρακαλώ κρατά μας ενήμερους, όπως ήδη κανεις δηλαδή. Ελπίζω να στείλει κανένα mail ή τέλος πάντων να δώσει κάποια στοιχεία για την καινουρια πλατφόρμα και διαδικασία.

Φαντάζομαι θα στείλει email σε κάποια φάση. Ελπίζω όσοι είχαμε κάποιο νούμερο reserved να είμαστε ακόμα στη λίστα για το επόμενο και όχι να γίνει απο την αρχή.

Δεν ξέρω αν δεν κατάλαβα σωστά κάτι, αλλά ο meranom είπε μετά από 1,5 χρόνο ότι απλά δεν μπορεί τελικά να φτιάξει την παραγγελία που είχε αναλάβει, χωρίς κάποια παραπάνω δικαιολογία και αποφάσισε να κλέψει τα σχέδια και να πουλήσει τα ξένα parts???

To be clear: the list continues as before. I will send an update this weekend - expect a lot of movement then.

After yesterday´s soap opera, we only lost one soul on the list

Διακρίνω κάποιες διαφορές αλλά το logo δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω απο ποια είναι.
Φαντάζομαι αυτό θα πρέπει να συνεχιστεί αλλού μιας και δεν θα είναι vostok

Αυτό θέλουν να βγάλουν τα λεφτά που έβαλαν για τα parts, λογικό να πουλάνε τα έξτρα (μάλλον) κομμάτια.
Το θέμα είναι ότι δεν μπορείς να λες στον άλλον "ναι μέσα να το φτιάξουμε" και να πετάς ένα άκυρο ξαφνικά.
Αν κάποια στιγμή βγάλουν πάντως το ρολόι απο μόνοι τους θα είναι μεγάλη ξεφτίλα
