Hamilton Crafts Limited Edition Titanium Timepiece for 'TENET'
Following a collaboration for 2014’s Interstellar, renowned film director Christopher Nolan has once again teamed up with American watch brand Hamilton for a limited edition timepiece featured in the upcoming thriller TENET.
Tapping one of the Swiss-made brand’s most trusty tool watches, the movie’s production designer Nathan Crowley has designed the collaborative BeLOWZERO himself, taking the stealthy blacked-out deep-sea diver and giving it a subtle hint of color. Able to withstand depths of up to 100 bar — or 1,000 meters — the watch comes in a robust 46mm titanium case coated with a sleek black PVD finish. The entire dial and its markings are all painted in the same tone, from the numeral indices to the hour and minute hands and the branding, save from the tiny dash of color in either red or blue taking over the tip of the seconds hand. Powering the watch is the H-10 automatic movement, based on the ETA C07.111, which carries an impressive power reserve of 80 hours and operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour.
For those interested, the TENET limited edition Hamilton BeLOWZERO will be limited to 888 units, a palindrome in tribute to the movie, available on July 1 at a price of $2,095 USD.
