WET-FEET "paragliders" ! !

 

Johan, they are in front of our house.

Some, really fly, no touch with water, but they do very risky maneuverings, close to the shore or the ferry.

Many French, Italians and Austrians. Some Germans too. I go by the area on my daily bike ride and check the number plates of their caravans.

They pay no fees for parking, camping, etc, just, if they do, some shopping fom S/M.

They have along most of their supplies.

Useless for the local economy

Δεν θα γράψω νεο ποίημα
για τηγανητή καμήλα,
μα θα ψάξω συνταγή,
για να βγαίνει ...........τραγανή.

Να' ναι απ' έξω κρούστα πρώτη,
να' ναι μέσα ζουμερή,
με μουστάρδα και κρεμμύδια,
με κρασί λαχταριστή.

Yes it is a more dangerous sport, and much more injuries then air-paragliding!

I have some friends paragliding campers, and they go almost daily to the restaurant, that is OK; but yes, most of the campers do NOT contribute to the economy ...

Now here in Mani, fires are under control or extinguished, but heavy wind and dust from North Africa...
