Steinhart Vintage GMT vs όποιου θέλετε εσείς.

Δε σας βλεπω και τοσο ψαγμενους.
Που ειναι οι προτασεις σας;;;
Απ' οτι φαινεται αυτη η "σαβουρα" η steinhart μας εχει βαλει τα γυαλια με τα ρολογια της.

Εγω παλι το μονο που καταφερα να βρω σε αυτα τα χρηματα κι αυτο απο προσφορα, γιατι κανονικα ξεφευγουν σε τιμες, ειναι το παρακατω swiss made......



Ενταξει, καπως ιδιαιτερο το πορτοκαλι αλλα τι να κανουμε;

Άρα υπάρχουν πάντα εναλλακτικές επιλογές..

Πολύ δυσκολα θα βρεις αλλο ρολοι "swiss made" με ζαφειρι, στεγανότητες (αναλογα με το τυπο μεχρι 1000μ., με ΕΤΑ σε παρα πολλά μοντελα της και όχι σε 1-2, ούτε καν με Miyota, αφού ακόμα και η 9015 δεν ειναι ιδια ποιοτικα, με από 380 €. Και δεν ειναι μονο το Ocean 1, αν σε ενοχλεί η "αντιγραφή" sub, ειναι και οι πιλοτοι, τα marine και τα military με ΕΤΑ και Unitas με κατω από 500 €, και οι χρονογράφοι με ΕΤΑ7750 με 900-1000 €.
Και μπορεί να βρει και "πρωτοπυπα" σχεδια όπως το Triton με 650 και το Apollon με μολις 480 €!! και με προδιαγραφες που άλλοι ρολογάδες ακόμα κι αν τις εχουν, ακόμα και microbrands, τις χρεωνουν πολύ πολύ ακριβότερα.

Ωραίο Δημητρη, αλλά δεν νομιζω ότι βγαινει ακομα, ασε που μαλλον ειναι πιο ακριβό από Steinhart.
και μιας και πιασαμε τα RT, να κι άλλο ένα από την Grovana (η Revue Thommen ήταν δικιά της) που σημειωτέον βγαζει (ή εβγαζε) τις κασες των Steinhart!!

Πολυ ομορφο κι αυτο Ηλια.
Με καθε επιφυλαξη νομιζω οτι η μαμα εταιρεια ειναι η RT, η οποια για μια περιοδο ειχε παραχωρησει στη grovana το δικαιωμα να βγαζει τα συγκεκριμενα ρολογια.

Η εταιρεία που ειχε την RT ρευστοποιηθηκε το 2000 και την παραγωγή και διανομή των RT ανελαβε η Grovana το 2001. Στη συνεχεια το 2002 με αδεια της RT (ποιας RT, της "ρευστοποιημένης"??), εφτιαχνε μηχανές για αυτήν...
Και αυτό συνεχίζεται μεχρι το 2014, όποτε τα δικαιωματα στη μπραντα RT παιρνει η νεα εταιρεία GT Thommen Watch AG.

Τα ρολόγια που υπάρχουν πάντως στη σελίδα της RT μέσω της σελίδας της Grovana ειναι τελείως διαφορετικά και πιο όμορφα (κατά τη γνωμη μου)

Δημητρη, ψάχνοντας βρήκα πίσω στο μακρινό 2008 (θυμάστε τι ωραία που ήμασταν..??  ) μια εξηγηση στο WUS που μάλλον απαντά στο ερώτημά μας.

    @TIMEangel: whoever told you that, does not know, what he's talking about. Neither does Grovana make Revue Thommen watches (Revue Thommen owns Grovana, that is something different) nor does Grovana have anything at all to do with the production of the Steinhart Nav.Bs!
    The next time, you mis-inform members of WUS about Steinhart, you should maybe do your homework first!

    Grovana (the Bitterli family) bought Revue-Thommen brand from Vulcain in 2001. They also bought a large stock of watches that, for a couple of years, were sold on eBay for below £100. The range of watches stayed the same for a few years with the succesfull Airspeed and the Alarm that COULD NOT be called Cricket because of Vulcain copyrights.
    There is absolutely no comparison from the "old" and original Revue-Thommen and the Revue-Thommen watches made under Vulcain. Grovana "cheap and cheerful" attitude has moved to the Revue-Thommen brand and all components are made in China and assembled in Tenniken, Switzerland (apart from most Swiss movements).

Η τελευταια παραγραφος ειναι που μας ενδιαφερει.

"I’ll try to answer some of your questions. I’m not a dealer or related to Revue Thommen or Grovana in anyway. I just like the Revue Thommen brand.

According to the booklet I received from Grovana on Revue Thommen’s history, the company originally started under the name of “Waldenburg clock and watch making company” in 1853. It seems the company was originally born from the Swiss government’s attempt to establish a new industry in Switzerland to fight unemployment and poverty at that time. Apparently, the company didn’t really establish itself until the company was privatized and taken over by Gedeon Thommen in 1859.

Under the new management, Gedeon Thommen focused on both quality and innovation. Gedeon was able to streamline the production of watches to achieve an output of 13,000 watches a year by 1890. It was at this time the company established the band mark of G.T. (which is still used today on all in-house movements). Due to its success, Gedeon started to add the production of in-house movements.

Without boring you with too much more history, Revue Thommen was able to thrive and weather many of the problems that faced the Swiss watch industry throughout the last century (for which I greatly admire) by creating the Manufactures d’Horlogerie Suisses Réunies SA” (M.S.R – Union of Swiss Watchmakers) in the 1960’s. By doing so Revue Thommen was able to increase production and reach farther into the international markets with a wider offering of products. Together this new group could count on a workforce of 760 people who could produce and sell some 600,000 good-quality timepieces a year. The companies belonging to the M.S.R group comprised:

BUSER FRERES & Cie, a movement manufacturer established in 1893. The family-owned firm started producing complete watches in1916. The main markets for its pocket and wristwatches included Germany, Britain and North America

The Phenix Watch Co., founded by three watchmakers in 1873. The company name dates from 1902. Products comprised pocket-and wristwatches, among them models with calendar or chronograph.

The THOMMEN SA watch factory opened in 1869 by Gédéon Thommen in Waldenburg near Basle. As early as 1870 it had instituted production processes on the American model, and could produce astonishingly accurate watches in considerable numbers. By 1905, it was making around 100.000 watches a year. It introduces its first automatic in 1948. With 400 people on its payroll, Thommen SA was the strongest link in the M.S.R chain.

The Vulcain & Studio watchmaking workshops could look back a good hundred years to its beginnings in 1858. Among its major achievements was the launch of the first large-serieswrist alarm-watch, the “Cricket” in 1948. Vulcain followed this with the ”Golden Voice” in 1958 – the first alarm wristwatch for women. Its golden alarm-diaphragm made it as sweet-sounding as its name.

Unfortunately, Revue Thommen chose to leave the watch making industry and closed its doors in 2001. The entire brand was sold to Grovana Watch Company. In doing so, the Revue Thommen brand lost all rights to produce the famous “Cricket” watch under that name. (In September 2001, Production & Marketing Horloger SA (PMH SA), based in Le Locle, acquired the Vulcain and Cricket brands as well as exclusive operating rights and production tools to the famous Cricket mechanical alarm movement)."
