Every Second Counts: Limited Edition in Tribute to Darryl O'Young's 10th Macau Grand Prix Race - Limited Edition of 500 Pieces
A racing enthusiast since childhood, Hong Kong based driver Darryl O'Young has successfully risen through the racing cars ranks to become one of the most decorated and celebrated GT drivers of all time. A major milestone setter in Chinese motor-sport, 2013 saw O'Young take his number 55 BMW around the Macau Grand Prix home track for the tenth time.
The case, in titanium with diamond-like carbon PVD coating, measures 44.5mm. It has a domed AR-coated sapphire crystal, a display back with an intricate spoke design )inspired by the wheels of his BMW) and it is water resistant to 100 meters. The bezel is black ceramic with a tachymeter scale engraved on it.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Oris caliber 774, base Sellita SW500, with 26 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours.
The dark grey dial highlights O'Young's achievements at Macau, with a bold red 10 and accentuated 55 displayed on it. The black nickel hands and the numerals are coated with SuperLuminova.
