The Graf Zeppelin watches are extremely well made and have a high grade finish worthy of watches costing twice their price. Almost all the models in the Graf Zeppelin line have some connection to the Zeppelin air ships (designed by Ferdinand Grafvon Zeppelin) that made historic flights from Germany in the early 1900's. The model series such as the Captains Line, Transatlantic, and Count Zeppelin recall the glory days of the record setting Zeppelin world flights.
Graf Zeppelin uses polished, brushed and satin finished stainless steel cases, and high quality handmade and hand stitched leather straps. All of the models in the Count Zeppelin and Captains series use a unique "Zeppelin" ribbed case that is quite handsome in both polished and brushed steel versions. Choose from mechanical (hand wind), automatic (self-winding), or precise quartz movements. Graf Zeppelin uses Swiss, Russian and some Asian produced movements. Case sizes range from 39mm to 42mm depending on the model.
