This is a very different type of titanium than my other two (much older) titanium Citizens, and a very different watch altogether than any other Citizen I own (I have four others). It seems to be a step up in quality from my other watches and appears like there was extra time spent in finishing and polishing. The PMX is finished in "Duratect" and is supposed to add extra scratch resistance [ref: Citizen Watches Co Ltd / What is Duratect ].
