For Only Watch, Bell & Ross has created a one-of-a-kind BR 01 Skull Bronze Tourbillon watch using a skull, or "Jolly Roger", that symbolizes the courage to intimidate and ward off ill fortune.
The skull and cross bones formed by the bezel and the screws create a resemblance to pirate flags of the past. Positioned on top of the 3D black honeycomb structure is a hand engraved 18k tsolid gold skull. Sword and dagger hands appearing on the dial are traditional motifs from the military world that represent bravery.
It is powered by the caliber BR-281, a mechanical movement with a tourbillon, regulator-style time indication, 5-day power reserve, and accuracy indicator functions.
The tourbillon's pink gold revolving cage is visible at the bottom of the dial. The use of micro-blasted bronze for the case is unique for Only Watch. Acquiring a patina over time, the bronze will soon develop an incomparable, ancient look.
