This year's Goodwood Festival of Speed was the scene of the Carrera's 50th birthday celebration. The Carrera is the first sports choronograph designed specifically for professional drivers and sports-car enthusiasts.

Throughout the weekend, the Festival of Speed showcased iconic cars representing TAG Heuer's historic association with motorsport and the greatest endurance races, including the Carrera PanAmericana and Le Mans.

TAG Heuer also marked the occasion with the official release of the Carrera Calibre 1887 Jack Heuer Edition Chronograph. Inspired by a stopwatch, this 45mm bullhead chronograph has the pushers at the top of the case. As its model name suggests, the timepiece houses the Calibre 1887 automatic chronograph movement with integrated column-wheel.
