Union Glashütte Marks 130th Anniversary with Limited-Edition Watch
The 1893 Johannes Dürrstein Edition
Celebrating 130 years, Union Glashütte has unveiled a special edition watch limited to just 300 pieces, the 1893 Johannes Dürrstein Edition Chronograph.
The timepiece is crafted in homage to vintage pocket watch chronographs, specifically inspired by a unique pocket watch from the 1920s, the wristwatch meticulously replicates the original design, down to the reconstructed numbers and hands.
Design details include a silver line-ground face, round-brushed totalizers and a modern-day display at 6 o’clock, encased in a domed sapphire crystal. At the heart of the watch beats the UNG-59.S1 movement that can be admired through a sapphire crystal on the back, boasting a power reserve of up to 60 hours.
With a 42mm diameter stainless steel case and a blue leather strap, the 1893 Johannes Dürrstein Edition offers a blend of elegance and functionality, an example of Union Glashütte’s enduring commitment to quality and affordability.
The timepiece is set to retail for at €3,600, or $xxx USD and will be available via UNION GLASHÜTTE’s official site and at select authorized retailers.
