The brand new watch, launching in January of 2016 for $550, takes the exact same look as Captain Scott's prototype watch, including the beautiful elongated pushers that are slotted into the full mid-case, and now adds a subtle date indication at 4 o'clock. Inside this new Bulova re-edition is their proprietary ultra-high frequency quartz chronograph movement. This movement, according to Bulova, allows for accuracy that is good to just seconds per year, and because of its high frequency, provides the smooth sweeping chronographs seconds hand that we are accustomed to with mechanical watches.
This special edition Bulova will hit stores in January 2016 with a retail price of $550.

Φύγαμε παρέα (σοβαρά το λέω )....και για 2 σίγουρα θα παιχτεί και καλύτερη τιμή σε φυσικό κατάστημα ;) πανέμορφο σε πανέμορφη τιμή ;)

Hi David,
I checked with our product development team who assured me that the case
diameter does not include the crown. We measured from 10 o'clock to 4
o'clock, not including the crown protector either should there be one.
Also, The distance between the lugs is 20mm. 45 mm may seem large to your
audience, but once you see one in person you will be quiet impressed. I had
this style on just today and it felt great.
