The case, in stainless steel, measures 41.5mm. It has a "glass box" sapphire crystal in lieu of Hesalite, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 50 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic Alpina in-house caliber AL-710 with 26 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. It features a large Glucydur balance and a black-coated ball bearing rotor. It has Côtes de Genève and circular graining decoration and all the bridges and cocks are beveled and rhodium-finished.

The AL-710 (and essentially identical FC-710) are in-house movements developed and manufactured only by Frederique Constant/Alpina. It's a good movement, but since it's in-house you may have difficulty getting it serviced by a local watchmaker since parts are not widely available as they would be for ETA or Sellita movements which are far more common. If you need service, you may have to take it to an authorized dealer or send it to Alpina.

The majority of mechanical movements require the same basic parts and systems to operate, which means that most movements are inherently similar. How movements are designed, decorated, and constructed are the real things that vary between brands. Those looking for watches that are entirely hand-assembled and richly decorated will only find satisfaction in in-house made movements. Those looking for unique complications which require steady hands and tireless attention will probably only find satisfaction in in-house made movements.

When a company produces something in-house, it means that it can control the costs and theoretically charge less than if they needed to buy it from someone else. This would be the ideal situation, but in the watch industry timepieces with in-house made movements typically come with a price higher than those with third-party sourced movements. Part of this is due to the emotional value of in-house made movements, and the other part is a very real cost associated with running and outfitting a movement factory. The machines and effort required to produce a watch movement are staggering. Tiny parts require large, expensive machines to produce in quantity. Many watch brands that today are producing their own movements are still dealing with the high-cost involved in producing them. They haven’t produced the volume of movements over long enough a timespan to be able and charge less per movement. So economics and emotion play a part in the price of in-house made mechanical watch movements

It depends, some are better, some aren't, the ETA range are tried and tested over 50 years, and are superb movements, with a good range in terms of quality. But, in-house does give you certain complications that you can't get via ETA, or where the ETA movement is lessened in a way due to a module being added, or being modified to suit.
Overall, i dare say it's a case of what you want and not what you need, in the main it's the same argument that has happened hundreds of times across the watch forums on the internet, but the fact is, in-house is deemed higher as it shows a watch company are capable of designing a watch, and not just putting pieces together from others, as for fit and function, again, it's perceived quality and ability in most cases, same with cars, clothes, etc, etc.

Ε,ναι.Απλά λέει το αυτονόητο.Ότι αυτό που πληρώνεις στο in house είναι ουσιαστικά αυτό:
