Although only issued for 4 years between 1967 and 1970, the Smiths is probably the best known of all British military watches and until quite recently, one of the more affordable for collectors.
This reintroduction is a completely new watch, built from scratch and incorporating improvements over the original. It is available in both 36mm and 39mm diameter, the 36mm retaining the acrylic crystal and fixed bars for the purists and the 39mm being fitted with a bombé (double dome) sapphire crystal and shoulderless springbars with drilled lugs. Both models have a soft iron dial and anti-magnetic cage, giving an anti-magnetic rating of 50,000 A/m (628 Oe). Both versions have also been allocated a NATO Stock Number (NSN).

Τελευταία μου έχει κολλήσει στο μυαλό το prs 40. Πέρα από ιδιαίτερο έχει και πολύ καλά specs για τη τιμή του. Αντιλαμβάνομαι ότι είναι αρκετά δεσμευτικό μιας και παίρνει μόνο nato λουράκια αλλά και πάλι... ::)Πολύ ομορφο είναι, πραγματικά. Εφόσον είναι Αγγλία αοο το νέο έτος θα παίζει τελωνείο??
Δεν ξέρουμε ακόμα, πάντως τα πράματα δεν φαίνονται καλά. Νομίζω πως θα παίξει τελωνείο αυτόματα από Φλεβάρη (ώστε να πέσει το αγγούρι στον Μπόρις), και τελικά θα συμφωνήσουν μέχρι το καλοκαίρι για τελωνειακή ένωση. Ίδωμεν. :(

Σίγουρα έτσι είναι.
Κατά τη γνώμη μου αυτό το ΣΚ είναι η καταλυτική ημερομηνία αν με ενδιέφερε αγορά από τους Άγγλους.
Ότι ήθελα να φέρω από Αγγλία το έφερα τον Νοέμβριο, δε καταλαβαίνω γιατί να τα αφήνω για τελευταία στιγμή όταν ξέρω εδώ και ένα χρόνο ότι τέλος 2020 τελειώνει η ιστορία με την Αγγλία και που το άφησα τόσο ήταν γιατί ήλπιζα σε καλύτερες τιμές λόγω Black Friday... αποδείχθηκε ότι τσάμπα περίμενα.

Τώρα, τελωνειακή ένωση, κλπ, σίγουρα παίζουν, γιατι αλλιώς, η τ. ΜΒ, θα γίνει .......μικρά.
Ηταν πάντα ξεχωριστοί, και θα παραμείνουν. Μόνο που αυτό, ΙΜΟ , τους οδηγεί, όπως λένε και δαύτοι, down the drain. :-[

I'm not sure, but:
I think it has to do with his website and ordering in that sunday moment.
I think the website can not register more then 300 incoming payments via CreditCards etc. ...

I tried getting the PRS-40 last Sunday when he opened up the website to sales but it must have sold out in minutes, I wasn't quick enough.
Poor man ..... On their forum also the Americans complain as they have to get up very early ...
Try again next sunday and check their website/ TK forum, that's the only advice I can give...

Πριν 2 εβδομαδες που ηταν να ανοίξει πάλι, ήμουν πανέτοιμος με το refresh στο δευτερολεπτο και ολοκλήρωσα την παραγγελία στην κυριολεξία σε κάτω απο 45''.

I have now +/- 25 watches and it is OK, I continue playing and changing the Seiko 5's !

This weekend's store opening sees the availability of the
Smiths Everest PRS-25 Gilt Dial
Due to the expected popularity of the Everest there will be very limited availability of all other watches.
THE EVEREST BLACK DIAL IS NOW SOLD OUT.
The jubilee bracelet will not be available again until the new year.
The Everest Honeycomb, White Dial and Expedition won't be available but will be on sale on future openings.
PLEASE be patient, measures will be in place to try and discourage "flippers" and re-sellers.
