ISO 22810 replaces ISO 2281 which has been used by the industry since 1990 when it was first published by ISO. The new 2010 edition removes any ambiguities and brings the content up to date with state-of-the-art developments.
ISO 22810 adopts not only a technical approach by giving a set of minimum requirements for water-resistant watches, but also seeks to give consumers useful information – precautions for use, notions of physics – and better all-round protection. It is expected to make a huge splash in the horology industry, ensuring timeless quality and continued customer satisfaction.
ISO 22810 covers watches intended only for daily use and for swimming, while ISO 6425 covers watches that can be used while scuba diving.
ISO 22810:2010, Horology – Water-resistant watches, was prepared by ISO technical committee ISO/TC 114, Horology, subcommittee SC 3, Water-resistant watches, and is available from ISO national member institutes (see the complete list with contact details) and may also be obtained directly from the ISO Central Secretariat, price 58 Swiss francs, through the ISO Store or by contacting the Marketing, Communication and Information department (see right-hand column).

Πιο χαλαρο το νεο ISO ,αλλα και καλα η ευθυνη βαρυνει τον κατασκευαστη...

Γιώργο στο link που έδωσες μάλλον φαίνεται ότι θα δυσκολέψουν τα πράγματα για να δοθεί η πιστοποίηση.
For example, if a watch is said to be “water resistant” to 30 meters (100 feet), this means that for all aquatic activities down to a depth of 30 meters, the watch case should not leak.
Για να δοθεί πιστοποίηση 30μ wr, σε όλες τις δραστηριότητες μέχρι τα 30 μέτρα, η κάσα δε πρέπει να πάρει νερό.
Η εταιρεία πρέπει να το αποδείξει με όποιον τρόπο - κριτήριο θέλει, αφού καταργούνται τα τυποποιημένα τεστ του ISO 2281, όπως εκείνο που ήθελε να αφήνουν το ρολόι για 1 ώρα στα 10 εκατοστά βάθος (Resistance when immersed in water at a depth of 10 cm. Immersion of the watch in 10 cm of water for 1 hour).

προσεγγίζουν περισσότερο την αντίληψη που έχει ο κόσμος, προσπαθώντας έτσι να προστατέψουν τον καταναλωτή
ότι δηλ αγοράζεις ρολόι που γράφει 30μ αδιάβροχο κ νομίζεις ότι μπορείς να το βουτήξεις μέχρι εκείνο το βάθος κ όχι απλά να πλύνεις τα χέρια σου όπως είναι σήμερα, το βρίσκω πολύ λογικό
θα γεμίσει η αγορά με αδιάβροχα στο 0,5 μέτρο! χαχαχα
