The steel of the new Luminor Marina is AISI 316L stainless steel, an alloy with a low carbon content notable for its high resistance to corrosion. The rose gold of the more elegant version is 5Npt: a special alloy with an unusually high percentage of copper (24.1%) which gives more depth to the colour, and 0.4% platinum which helps to prevent any oxidation of the metal.

The movement of the new Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Automatic is the Swiss automatic Panerai in-house caliber P.9000, completely designed and executed by Panerai in Neuchâtel.

It has 28 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 3 days and it is driven by two spring barrels wound by a rotor which operates in both directions.

The case features two sapphire crystals (front is AR-coated) and it is water resistant to 100 meters.
