Sellita’s history isn’t as extensive as that of ETA, but it is substantial nevertheless. Sellita has been assembling movements and watches for the Swiss industry for 70 years and they were an important partner of ETA for many years

The Sellita calibers are the closest to the ETA calibers of all the companies making “ETA Clones”


What we are seeing from Sellita today is 99% as good as what comes from ETA

Γιατί,θα αγόραζα ρολοι με τη Sellita  και όχι την Powermatic 80?

There's been some misconception that this movement is both not serviceable and contains "plastic" parts. In fact, the pallet fork and escape wheel are made of a synthetic material, found in this entry-level version of the Powermatic 80 movement

Το σίγουρο είναι,ότι η εταιρία έχει βγάλει από το αδιέξοδο αρκετές μικρές ελβετικές εταιρίες,που αγοράζουν μηχανές.Φτιαχνει την 2824,2836,2892,2801 και το χρονογράφο 7750.Μηχανές που γνωρίζουν χρόνια οι ωρολογοποιοι και εύκολα θα κάνουν σέρβις

Βλέπω στην φωτογραφία ότι έχει κάνει κάποια αλλαγή η Sellita. Στην ETA οι γέφυρες και το κοκ του μπαλανσιέ, εδράζονται με τον συνηθισμένο τρόπο πάνω στην βάση της μηχανής (πλατίνα), δηλαδή έχουν

προεξοχές που εισχωρούν σε οπές της πλατίνας. Στην Sellita οι προεξοχές υπάρχουν στην πλατίνα και οι οπές στις γέφυρες και το κοκ του μπαλανσιέ.

Επίσης έχω διαβάσει ότι οι τροχοί της μιας μηχανής δεν ταιριάζουν στην άλλη...  ( But, most importantly, the different parts are not interchangeable between the two manufacturers because there are minute

differences in the geometry of the teeth of the wheels, for example, or the heights of their application on the axle. This means that if you use a Sellita wheel in an ETA movement, the movement is likely to fail

faster than what happens with the correct parts. )
