MING is a horological collective formed and fully funded by six enthusiasts from around the world under the leadership of Ming Thein, a photographer, designer, business strategist and above all, a lover of watches.
The MING team draws from over 80 years of total experience collecting fine timepieces – ranging from vintage to avant-garde; from quality affordables to six-figure independent commissions.
Our goal with MING is to bring back a sense of excitement and discovery through watches that show considered deliberation and refinement in every detail, while punching far above their price point. We neither pretend to have history nor are we burdened by it; we make watches as we see fit and would want to have in our own collections. We will be the first to admit that we don't manufacture in-house, rather our watches are built on the strength of dedicated partners like Manufacture Schwarz-Etienne and Jean Rousseau Paris. All our watches are assembled, regulated and tested in Switzerland, with final quality control done personally in Malaysia. Our watches are only available directly from us at www.ming.watch as we believe in building a lasting relationship with our customers, and this is not possible through a third party dealer.
MING is our way of sharing our experience with enthusiasts who want to discover watchmaking substance beyond brand, for budding aficionados and seasoned collectors alike. We are grateful for the industry recognition we've been given from our friends in the media and the GPHG, and strive to keep pushing the boundaries.
Μια σχετικά νέα εταιρία που κάνει αρκετό θόρυβο, κυρίως με το design language και το marketing της. Τα ρολόγια της βγαίνουν σε μικρά batches που τώρα πια εξαφανίζονται εν ριπή οφθαλμου. Τα τελευταία είναι τα 27.01 και 27.02.

Ομορφα ρολογια, αλλα το υπερ- hype που εχουν τα κανει αρκετα δυσπροσιτα, ενω οι τιμες εχουν παρει ανηφορο.
Ομως εχουν διακριθει αρκετα κι εχουν ξεχωρισει, ενω εχουν φτιαξει και τη δικη τους σχεδιαστικη ταυτοτητα -σε πεισμα αυτων που μονο να "ομαζαρουν" ξερουν με το επιχειρημα δεν υπαρχει παρθενογενεση / οχι εμεις διαφερουμε κτλ

Η Ming ανακοίνωσε πρόσφατα το καινούριο entry level ρολόι της και νεότερο μέλος της σειράς 17, το 17.09, σε δύο χρώματα:

Φοραει μια τροποποιημένη έκδοση της SW330-2 από τη Selita, όπου εκτός από το αισθητικό κομμάτι η Manufacture Schwarz-Etienne έχει προσθέσει τη δυνατότητα για ανεξάρτητη κίνηση του δελικτη της ώρας.
Όπως αρκετά από τα ρολόγια της Ming, αλλά για πρώτη φορά στη "φτηνή" σειρά της, η λουμινόβα γεμίζει αμυχές από laser στο κάτω μέρος του ζαφειριού, δημιουργώντας ένα εντυπωσιακό αποτέλεσμα.
